Community Education Programs
General program topics include, and are not limited to:
·    The general rights and responsibilities of taxpayers
·    The Earned Income Tax Credit
·    How and where to file
·    Tax guidance for divorced or separated individuals
·    Tax highlights for persons with disabilities
·    How to become financially literate

The Low Income Taxpayer Clinic of AppalReD is also pleased to offer a special program called "Financial Independence and Self-Sustainability."  This program is underwritten by a generous grant from the Kentucky Bar Foundation, Inc.  "Financial Independence and Self-Sustainability" uses the tax refund as the key tool in making a plan to manage your money and ultimately become financially independent.  This program will be offered on a general basis and also on a special basis to high school students and survivors of domestic violence.  If you are a high school or a shelter for survivors of domestic violence and would like more information about this program, please contact Cannon-Marie Green at 859-624-1394 or cannong@ardfky.org.

The Low Income Taxpayer Clinic of AppalReD will begin conducting community education programs this fall.  Click here for the fall schedule
